Nagyatád is a pleasant, extremely orderly, calm, quiet small town located in the south-western region of Hungary.  The town is in the southern part of Belső-Somogy, 60 kilometers from Lake Balaton, near the Croatian border.

Nagyatád can rightly be called the “city of parks, statues and spas”. There is a thermal and medical spa, what is the pride of the settlement. It is built at the beginning of the 20th century. The thermal water is suitable for both bathing and drinking therapy. The facility is located in the middle of the Széchenyi Park, in the heart of the city.
