About the settlement

Nagyatád is a pleasant, extremely orderly, calm, quiet small town located in the south-western region of Hungary, in the southern part of Belső-Somogy, 60 kilometers from Lake Balaton, near the Croatian border.

Nagyatád can rightly be called the “city of parks, statues and spas”. The pride of the settlement is the XX. Built at the beginning of the 20th century, it is a thermal and medical spa, the water of which is suitable for both bathing and drinking therapy. The facility is located in the middle of the Széchenyi Park in the heart of the city, made up of wild chestnut trees, evergreens, babbling brooks, and walkways.
